Welcome back to the site! In celebration of nearly fifteen years of bringing live latin music to the people all over the Midwest, Son Venezuela is happy to launch our brand new home on the web! The band has had a great summer, and is looking forward to a fall filled with music, friends, and good times. Be sure to come out and say hello at a show! Also, a New Year's Eve Party with Son Venezuela is in the works, so check it out soon.

Thanks again to all of the fans and friends that voted Son Venezuela as Kansas City's "Best Latin Act" in the 2007 Pitch Weekly Music Awards. The band takes the distinction to heart, and will continue to strive to be one of the best latin bands in the region. From salsa to merengue, cumbia to tamborera, Son Venezuela is committed to bringing latin music and culture to the dance floor. And, as always, gracias a los bailadores!
